La Fornacina Country House

The countryside is lovely, with sheep and eagle-like birds in the distance, along with the occasional chainsaw. There’s a big pool and a garden full of plants, trees, and herbs. A great place for a vacation, well worth visiting.

Our two-year-old, my wife, and I had a wonderful stay. The unusual furnishings and being surrounded by nature make the place feel enchanting, and the kind owner, Layla, looks after it magically. It’s also well placed for visiting the beautiful nearby villages. We’d definitely recommend it to nature lovers who don’t mind the chance of finding a gecko in their room. :)

The room had a really comfortable bed, and the rustic atmosphere felt romantic, especially for a couple. The lock on the door didn’t work properly, though, and the toilet seat was broken. Neither issue got fixed during our three-day stay.

The view was beautiful, and the lady was nice, but that didn’t make up for the cleanliness. The room and breakfast tables could have been much cleaner. Breakfast was barely the minimum, and the water, coffee, and milk carafes were dirty on the outside. I hope they were cleaner inside.
