Podere L'Olmaia

Marco made me feel very welcome, and Carraia was spotless and thoughtfully equipped. There’s a good-sized bedroom with a sitting area downstairs and a huge bathroom. The bedroom is reached by stairs, though there are other single-level options. I also had coffee and capsules, a kettle, fridge, a large bottle of water, outdoor seating, and a clothes rack. The property is beautifully kept, really quiet, and the pool stays in the sun until late. I only had one night at Podere l'Olmaia, which felt far too short, but I’m glad I found it and would happily return. It worked well as a base for beach time: Giannella beach, with both free areas and a lido, is less than 20 minutes away. Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano in the Argentario take about another 10 minutes. Inland places like Magliano, Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, and Capalbio, a little farther south, are also within reach. I’d recommend staying here.
