Waking up to the lake from our balcony each morning was one of the best parts. It was quiet and lovely, and the small number of rooms meant the place never felt busy. There’s plenty of green space around the Grand Nautilus, with spots to unwind from beach cabanas and shaded loungers to a swing and gazebo. The hotel sits between the mountains and its private beach, and there’s a little bar and restaurant for guests, including breakfast at no extra cost and a menu for lunch and dinner. Magda and Olen were warm and attentive without hovering. We met the owner on our first day too; he was friendly and showed us his car collection. We’d happily stay at the Nautilus hotel again.

The food was tasty, and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. We spent the day at the private beach, where the lake view was stunning and made it easy to relax. I didn't stay at the hotel, but even the drive over was enjoyable. It was a lovely place, and I'd love to come back.

We paid for beach sunbeds with our two small children, but they wouldn't let me buy water or coffee. The owner's behaviour was rude and disgusting, and the customer service was terrible. The place also looks as if it hasn't been renovated since communist times. Tourists aren't beggars, and hospitality should be up to standard.

The owner treated us with real kindness and was a wonderful person to deal with. He deserves all the praise for his manners and the way he treats people.
