B&B Santachiara

We used the free bicycles to visit the archaeological park of the Messapian walls, and the fascinating Plinian fountain is well worth seeing. Breakfast was sumptuous and very much in the Apulian tradition. We had come back to Puglia for an anniversary trip after visiting in July. Since the B&B was full, Mrs. Emanuela offered us the apartment across the street. It was fully equipped, recently renovated, and tastefully furnished. The area was almost unbelievably quiet, and we spent three wonderful days tasting Primitivo and visiting beautiful beaches that were much less crowded than the Salento coast near Lecce.

The small square outside is quiet and has convenient, adequate parking. Inside, the B&B is welcoming, clean, and tastefully furnished, with a little garden and courtyard. All three rooms are comfortable and quiet, with air conditioning and lovely bathrooms. The owner was very kind, and the prices were reasonable. It's a five-minute walk to the historic center and main restaurants. By car, San Pietro in Bevagna is 10 minutes away, Maruggio 15 minutes, and Saline and Torre Colimena 20 minutes. Everything was great. 👌

There's always a parking spot in the little square outside. The property is lovely, well-kept, and welcoming, with pretty rooms and a beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent and generous, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it!

The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and spotless, and the owner is so kind and attentive to what guests need. It's a little gem, just steps from the historic center and a few kilometers from Salento's most beautiful beaches. Highly recommended. Beatrice
