We booked through Booking.com. The price wasn’t exactly cheap and breakfast wasn’t included, but we liked the place at first. We were only meant to stay one night, thank goodness. We arrived in the evening, and although the room looked much bigger online, we let that go. When we pulled back the blankets, we found the sheets hadn’t been changed and there was hair all over the bed. It was practically sickening. We called the owner straight away and sent photos, but he didn’t seem to believe us and kept insisting that he’d given us a clean room. There were curly hairs on the sheets, and I’m Liscia! About 15 minutes later he arrived and moved us upstairs, into what was basically the room we’d booked in the first place but hadn’t been given. He kept saying the girl had cleaned, then suggested that maybe his small daughter had climbed onto the bed. That was absurd too. His apology was to offer a discount next time, but we won’t be going back, and he’d already collected the money. Around 7:00 the next morning, a child’s screams woke us, along with sunlight coming through the nearly transparent door, which had no curtain. I looked out and saw a girl with the child on the terrace where our room was, playing around. I could go on, but I’ll stop here. Never again!

Milo was extremely kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. I stayed with my dog in the ground-floor studio apartment, and we both had a wonderful time. The place was designed by a master glassmaker, with stone walls and vaulted ceilings in rose-colored stone. It was spotless, had every comfort, and was just steps from the city center. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Milo gave us a thoughtful selection of suggestions for traditional places to eat and things to see and do. We picked some truly welcoming spots and had unforgettable evenings. We’ll definitely come back, since there are so many places to visit in Manduria. The B&B itself is very welcoming, with terraces, verandas, and exposed stone. It’s in the center of Manduria, in a charming spot with beautiful vaulted ceilings, but away from the nightlife.

The host was the best part of our stay in the heat of late August. He was friendly, offered lots of suggestions, and quickly sorted out a problem in our room. Communication was excellent. The accommodation is small but highly valued, built in stone and renovated with modern touches. There’s free parking all around outside. Recommended.

The owner was helpful from the moment we booked. The studio is in a quiet area, just steps from the center of Manduria and a few kilometers from the sea. It’s very nice, has a lovely terrace, and comes with all the comforts.
