Hotel Belvedere

The welcome from Davide set the tone for our holiday. We arrived late on the way to the Dolomites, and he was wonderful. Badiano helped us park, then Guiseppe saw us off the next day with a big smile. Everyone was friendly and polite. The pool and breakfast were fantastic, and I couldn't fault the facilities. After many years of travelling, that was one of the nicest welcomes I've had. We stayed at The Belvedere and will definitely come back for longer.

The view was lovely and our room was clean, but the service left a bad impression. Staff were quite rude, and their idea of customer service was interesting. The dog in the next room got under the balcony divider and did its business on ours. My partner nearly stepped in it when he went out to enjoy the view. We told reception, and their response was basically that it wasn't their problem. We weren't expecting compensation, but that attitude was shocking. Later they kept pestering us about the restaurant bill, even though we would have paid at checkout. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant either: average food at an extortionate price. Sadly, I'd avoid the place.

We went in July and never had trouble finding a parking space, even though the hotel is on a hill and has only a few spots. The pool was clean and not crowded. Breakfast was a small selection, but fresh and tasty, and the service was polite. It's a cosy place with a lovely view and a handy base for exploring the west coast of Lake Garda. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and nice, and there was parking. The view was good and the food too. Service was okay. Just be aware there's no elevator to the top floors.
