The pool and its loungers were a nice feature, and the breakfast was okay, though nothing special. The rest of our five-day stay had too many problems for more than two stars. We were promised a panoramic Lake Garda view on the website, but our room faced a Tesla and a wall. When I pointed out the guarantee, the man at reception first said we should have booked a different room, then changed his explanation to say we needed to call and request it. There were no other rooms available. We also had to switch the lights on using a fuse box, and after housekeeping came in, we had to ask for help to get them working again. On arrival, the hotel looked nice from outside. We checked in and were then asked for a tourist tax we hadn't been told about, which we paid. By day three, there was no hot water at all, only freezing cold water, so we had cold showers for the rest of our stay. Lunch was available at the hotel, but it was much pricier than elsewhere nearby. A basic Margherita was €10 plus a €1.50 service charge, and a pizza with a small 200ml drink came to €18. Too many promises went unfulfilled.
