Everything else was fine, and the location was good. The room was nice, though they were a bit careless with towels: the small ones were missing. There was also just one little jam for two people over two days.

We stayed for a week at the start of December. First, I want to thank the owner again for being so kind about changing our booking when I suddenly got sick in November. That was really nice. The location is a plus if you want to be right in the center. The better room they offered after I complained was appreciated, though we declined because we'd already unpacked and didn't think cleanliness would be any different. The bed itself was very uncomfortable, and the room was heated only by air conditioning, which made the air unpleasant. A neighbor smoked, and the smell reached our room. The bathroom has no ventilation going outdoors, so smells lingered there and in the room. Cleanliness was a real problem, as other guests have said. I've worked in a travel agency for over 20 years, and our bed linen wasn't changed once during the week. It was stained and damaged, with buttons that no longer fastened. The towels stayed damp and never really dried; they were changed only after we asked. The cleaning ladies were unfriendly and didn't clean thoroughly. Twice I found hair on the toilet seat, the shower didn't feel clean, and the floor was never properly clean. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this accommodation. These things need to be improved.

The service gets zero from me. Staff are never on-site, so there's nobody to handle problems or answer questions. There weren't even clothes pegs for hanging laundry. Is there really no space-saving washing machine in the room? How are you supposed to wash your clothes? And making the bed myself, too? What kind of B&B is this? Terrible. There's also a musty smell outside by the entrance to the rooms. I'm sorry I stayed here. Next time I'll choose a different B&B.

The only good thing was being right in the center. That also meant loud music and noise all night. We picked this place over the city's average-priced B&Bs because the rooms looked lovely in the Booking.com photos, and we liked the elegant building entrance. On arrival, though, the manager took us to another address and put us in a different room from the one we'd booked. The entrance there was dirty and run-down, and the security door still hadn't been installed. The room wasn't finished either: cardboard boxes for painting were sitting in one corner to protect the floor, and spikes and pipes stuck out of the wall. It was very bare compared with the room shown in the photos of the corner house. The bathroom window was broken and wouldn't shut. We kept quiet at first so our only two days of vacation wouldn't turn into a fight, but eventually we couldn't take it anymore. They gave us a bottle of wine. A truly terrible experience.
