We liked being there during the last week of May, before the crowds arrived, while they were getting the place ready for the busy period. The young entertainers were great at getting people involved in activities. Thanks to Melania, Patrick (challenge him to table tennis), Guiseppe, the young dance instructor, and the talented young female DJ. Sorry, I can't remember all the names. The front desk helped us find a taxi on a holiday. Some English is spoken, though not everywhere.

The pool was great, and the animation team were friendly and fun. They mostly spoke Italian, but still included us even though we didn't speak the language. The pool snack bar was good and reasonably priced. We mostly ate in our apartment in the evenings. There was no AC on the second floor, but it didn't bother us. With a car, I'd suggest visiting Vieste, Trani, the Gargano, Matera, and a Bufala farm. The best and closest grocery store was in Manfredonia. Perfect for families, and we had a wonderful week!
