The pasta is a real standout, and the home-cooked Piedmontese food is beautiful. Lorenzo is warm and friendly, and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. It’s a gorgeous spot among the vineyards, and I’d happily recommend it. Go during the day to enjoy the views.

It’s well worth the drive if you have a car. Next time, I’d come for lunch so we could enjoy the view in daylight. The food was lovely, and Lorenzo made us feel welcome. He was really helpful explaining the menu, and his English is excellent despite his protests!

We had a delicious lunch, starting with three different antipasti that were all amazing, then homemade pasta. You can tell it was made that morning. The nearby barbaresco wine was lovely, and our waiter helped us choose just the right amount. The place is beautiful, with cozy but fashionable decor. There’s a fireplace and a little area out front with warm chairs and blankets, and there are only a few tables, so it doesn’t get too crowded. The waiter came out to greet us and show us to our table, then stayed extremely kind and helpful throughout. He and the restaurant really went out of their way to make it a great meal for my husband, my mother, and me. We’ll happily return, and I’m looking forward to seeing it in spring or summer.

Of all the restaurants we tried in the region, this one had the tastiest, best tajarin with white truffle, along with traditional dishes you can’t find anywhere else. Amazing experience, highly recommended.
