Ileana was really friendly and enjoyed chatting and exchanging stories with her guests. She gave us great tips for things to do in Mantua and nearby. The rooms are large, each with a private bathroom, and it's a cute B&B. It's a little outside town, about a 20-minute walk to the center, but that makes it quieter. Breakfast is Italian style, with croissants, bread, marmalade, fruit, and yoghurt. It was enough, and Ileana said to ask if anything was missing. The only downside was the cost: we paid 125 Euros a night, and we've stayed in amazing hotels elsewhere in Italy for that price. We were there during an important festival, though, so maybe rates were higher then.

Ileana was so kind and helpful during my two-night stay at Verdeblu. It’s a cozy little place, and I really enjoyed the nice breakfast and the stay overall.

I can’t speak to the room since I never stayed. We had booked for one night, but I got sick and had to cancel. The lady didn’t contact me or reply to my email, which I found very unprofessional. I don’t know whether service is any different for guests staying overnight.

The Italian breakfast was delicious, and the owners made us feel so warmly welcomed. They were very nice and gave us suggestions for places to see and eat. Our two nights at B&B Verdeblu felt too short, and we would gladly return. There is just one double room, so it feels very private, along with a bathroom and a breakfast room that guests can use whenever they like. It has a fridge and microwave, and everything is close together. The place is very clean, comfortable, and has a lovely smell. Our car was safe in the courtyard, and the B&B is on a quiet side street. Dogs are very welcome, with walks nearby and even fenced areas. The bed was large and comfortable, with two mattresses, thick pillows, and a ceiling fan. Thank you 💛!

The historic center takes about 15-20 minutes to reach on foot, and the location itself is quiet. There is parking on the property, and Ileana is kind and attentive to details. Breakfast was minimal, though, and there’s no TV. For the price, I didn’t think it was good value.
