I had a really enjoyable stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mantova. It’s close to the train station and bus stops, the price is reasonable, and breakfast was great. The staff were friendly, kind, and polite, and the room had AC.

The staff reacted quickly and moved us to another room when I reported that the bathroom was completely infested with flies. I appreciated that they dealt with it promptly, but the problem made for a stressful morning. We had to transfer all our luggage and get ready in a hurry to reach the station for our planned trip to Modena, with an evening return to Mantua. That took up time we’d wanted to spend relaxing over breakfast. The issue on our first night at Hotel Antica Dimora affected the stay, despite the pleasant evening and good dinner beforehand.

The room was spacious, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. It’s well placed for walking into Mantova’s centre, and public transport is easy to reach. I’d recommend it.
