The hotel has been recently renovated, and it was our favourite stay of the trip in our favourite town. The rooms are larger than most we’ve stayed in, the bathroom is new, and the staff are very helpful. It’s rated as a two-star place because the front desk isn’t staffed around the clock, but frankly it feels like a four-star hotel. Great value, and a great location near the piazza and Ducale Palace.

The view from our matrimonial room was wonderful, and the interior design was lovely. It’s central and quiet, with top service, and made a fantastic base for exploring Mantova. We stayed one night, and it was one of the most beautiful places around at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was typically Italian, mostly sweet. Vegan options were a problem, and anything extra had to be requested a day ahead. Still, absolutely recommendable.

For a two-star hotel, this was really cool. The staff were great, and the place was very clean with excellent conditions. I’d rate it at least three stars.

The welcome was friendly, and the room was very nice and well kept. It’s an old hotel, beautifully restored in the old town of Montova city.

The email replies came quickly, and the service was so kind. The accommodation itself was lovely and tastefully done. I’d highly recommend this hotel.
