Vista Hotel & Residence

I thought I’d be here for two weeks, but ended up staying a whole month. The location is so convenient, with two huge supermarkets across the street, one regular and one organic, a bus stop out front that gets you into town in five minutes, and the beautiful lotus lake right behind the hotel. The beds are comfortable, and it feels like having a little apartment of your own. Marco, the manager, keeps things running well. He and the staff started to feel like family after a couple of weeks. They were attentive and quick to respond, while still being warm and generous in that typical Italian way. Mantova is a real jewel of a town, and I’d happily stay here again. A presto!!! A few things weren’t working when I arrived, and Marco came in after hours to fix them. The team couldn’t get the laundry machine working, so I used a laundromat during my stay. That was a small tradeoff for how comfortable and convenient the hotel was. They also take direct bookings ;)

Everything was just right, from the place and its location to the staff. Great stay!

Excellent!

I spent a month here for work, and the accommodation was extremely uncomfortable. It was cramped, cold, damp, and exposed to all the street noise. There was even mold on the living room and bedroom walls. The bathroom couldn’t be used in some places, and the mattress creaked and was very uncomfortable. The accommodation is in a separate area from the main building, and getting there by car was difficult. The common areas are tiny and have no signs. Weekly housekeeping covered only the bathroom and floors; the beds and sheets weren’t changed. The staff were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional.
