Hotel Murmann

The breakfast really made my day. We'd stayed in six hotels on this Italy trip so far, and this was by far the best. Everything was wonderful, with high-quality local products and plenty of choice. The waiter was incredibly kind, and my favorite was a nicely sized portion of ricotta with honey. We were there for a day with my family, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is between the station and the port, with a restaurant nearby and a playground for my child. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked stunning. I'd definitely return.

The rooms are a little dated, but they had everything we needed and it didn't affect our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The front terrace has a lovely atmosphere and looks stunning. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, with staff going out of their way to help. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel, with plenty of choice. The beach and port are an easy walk away. Maratea is a hidden gem on this coast, and I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.

A beautiful hotel with a clean, cozy room and very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, and the sweeping pool is lovely and calming. There are good discounts for some restaurants and activities.

We booked three nights at the end of our road trip to relax, and it was a great choice. The whole team were fantastic from the time we drove up to the gate until we left. Our modern, well-equipped room and bathroom had lovely sea views. The pool area is well kept, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was huge, beautifully presented and thoughtfully put together with local ingredients. Probably the best I've had anywhere. We knew there was no dinner restaurant at the hotel, but dining options within walking distance were limited in May, though there may be more in high season. Litricos, about a 15-minute walk away, is a good choice for the usual pizza and pasta. Very highly recommended.
