Primo Hotel

The housekeeping staff were the bright spot: always smiling, kind, and helpful. The hotel is also close to the sea. But despite looking impressive from outside, the rooms weren't properly clean. There was popcorn in the bed, and fingerprints covered the closets as if nobody had cleaned them. The bathroom flooded easily and had no toilet paper. We asked for some, but it never appeared over the following days. The towels were never changed, and the beds weren't made.

Rony was qualified and very friendly, ready to help everyone. He even got all the guests into an impromptu Latin dance party. Nicola, the head waiter, was dedicated, competent, welcoming, and knowledgeable about everything; he was always happy to chat. We all had a really enjoyable time, and I think we'll definitely return.

The location is excellent, close to both the coast and the main square, but the rest left a lot to be desired. In my view, the hotel doesn't meet the standard I'd expect from a 3-star place. Renovations are underway, but there are still flaws in the building and rooms, especially the small bathroom. There's no sink strainer, the shower enclosure leaks, and there's no bidet, which is a must in Italy. The restaurant could use improvement as well. Breakfast would be better with fewer packaged items and more homemade desserts.

My family and I spent Easter on Elba Island, and we really appreciated the excellent service. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was impeccably clean. Dinner was delicious, with products that were clearly high quality. Thanks for your hospitality and all your help.
