Very Good Featured review

We were so disappointed that we left after just one day. The rooms and surroundings were modest and old, with no flowers. Getting to the beach meant a difficult hike that felt almost dangerous with dogs or children. The little beaches on either side are rocky and very small, so it might work for a day trip, but not a longer stay. Reaching the nearest village also takes a 30-minute hike. For the same price, we're much happier now in Procchio, with a sandy beach, a beautiful view and great amenities.

We stayed for seven days and liked the small beach below the hotel, about a five-minute walk away. It was away from the crowds, and we were usually the only ones swimming and snorkeling. The staff were very friendly, with a family feel, and the place is lovely if you're after peace and solitude. We had half board, but dinner ran from 8 to 8:45 PM. With a child, we'd have found it more convenient an hour earlier. Still, I'd recommend it for a small, quiet, relaxing stay away from the crowds.

I only went to the restaurant, not the hotel. The view was fantastic, but the food and service sadly weren't. The staff were unfriendly and inattentive to customers and details. The food seemed to come straight from the freezer, and the grilled fish was burnt rather than grilled. SantAndrea has far better places.
