We had a great long weekend here, 12 of us in total, after I booked the whole Villa for my 60th Birthday. It’s a traditional, rustic farmhouse in a beautiful secluded spot, with a spotless pool. Anyone after a modern, sleek interior might be disappointed, but if you want a proper traditional Tuscan stay, you’ll be happy. We had a lot of fun with the pool table in the games room. Gabrielle and his family were helpful hosts and still gave us our privacy.

The owner, Gabriele, really cares about his guests’ well-being. We felt looked after and welcome in this peaceful farmhouse, where so much attention has gone into the details. The simple furnishings, fireplace scent, and familiar old objects brought back childhood memories for me. It’s also a handy base, with many places only a short drive away. I’ll definitely return and would recommend it to anyone looking for peace, serenity, and a real sense of well-being.

We spent two nights here over Valentine’s Day, and the farmhouse was enchanting even in winter. With the large green grounds, I imagine it must be even lovelier in spring and summer. It sits quietly in the countryside but close to amenities, and makes a good base for Siena, Arezzo, and Florence. Inside, the rooms have period furniture and rustic objects that create an authentic, well-kept, old-world atmosphere. Everything was still very comfortable, carefully maintained, warm, and private. Breakfast was excellent and felt genuine. The owner and his mother were especially kind and attentive, with a rare, down-to-earth helpfulness that made us feel truly welcome. A magical place we highly recommend.
