Relais Ormesani

We’ve been coming to this hotel every year since 2005, and plan to keep coming for at least another ten years, maybe longer. The farm visit is a favorite for my children. They get to say hello to the animals in the morning, and a farmer showed them how to milk. They love it, and it’s a great experience for them. The Venetian food is worth trying too. Aguriturismo can’t offer a wide range of services like a four-star hotel, so if that’s what you expect, this isn’t the place for you. But it has everything WE need, plus things we haven’t found anywhere else. Five stars don’t feel like enough. Friendly, tasty, and unforgettable.

The food was a real highlight. They make so much from scratch, including the butter and bread, and it was all to die for. The animals were amazing, and the host was friendly and welcoming. There’s also a large pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and spa offering facials, massages, and manicures and pedicures. This was the highlight of my whole trip. I’ve stayed in plenty of luxury hotels, but this was the most beautiful place I’ve visited in Italy. Photos don’t do it justice. It’s a hidden gem, only seven minutes from the airport. If you’re near Venice, I’d stay here instead of in the city. Nature lovers will fall for it.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The building looks nice and seems good quality, but one employee treated customers terribly. He didn’t care what my complaint was, kept insisting he was right, and wouldn’t fix the problem. He was very arrogant and had no sense of service. They don’t treat customers properly. I’d rather sleep outside than stay here. The worst hotel of my life!!! Never come here.. The way the staff treat guests is truly the worst.

We booked this place because it was convenient for Venice airport, and it is. But the farm itself is something I’ve never seen anything like in the U.S. Everything is made there, from the wheat for the bread to the prosecco, wines, cheeses, meats, vegetables, fruit, and grappa, all to a really high standard. There are lots of farm animals for the kids to visit too. I’m astonished a place like this exists. If you knew what it was really like, you’d come every time. I’d give it ten stars if I could.
