The view from the pool might be the best I've ever seen, and the autumn colours in the surrounding nature were incredible in October. Lucia recommended a hike that became the highlight of our trip, especially for anyone who loves the outdoors. We'd just returned from Hotel Excelsior and honestly, it felt perfect. The sauna was a relaxing way to unwind after a day out exploring. Meals came with views that made us want to linger, from the breakfast spread to the dinner salad buffet. Food was excellent across the board, with a good wine list and great coffee. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy.

I was really impressed by the spa at Hotel Excelsior. Martina at reception made us feel looked after from the start, with a calm, warm and attentive manner and real flexibility. That kind of sincere care is rare. A lovely spa experience, made even better by the staff. Thank you.

Excelsior is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I found it hard to fault. It has great amenities and service, yet still feels intimate and small. The rooms are amazing, even better than the photos suggest, and the ski-in, ski-out setup is good.

The hotel is right by the ski slope, the spa is very well done, and the rooms are clean and okay. Most of the restaurant service team were very guest-oriented, though a few weren't. My main issue was the food. Portions were extremely small, and some dishes seemed to be recycled from the menu on previous days. The kitchen staff were rather inflexible, which I assume they were instructed to be. For the price of the hotel, I don't think it was worth the money. That's a shame, since we'd hoped to return regularly.

Everything about our stay was perfect: the views, the food and the service. You can feel the attention to detail throughout this absolutely amazing resort. One of the best places we've stayed, and we already want to come back.
