What made this hotel hard to leave was the team. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, helpful, and fun to be around, and they took great care of us. The new rooms were spacious and comfortable. It’s about a six-minute bus ride to the gondola, with the bus stop right outside. Their hospitality made the whole stay easy and enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The spa was a real highlight for me, with two saunas, one at 100 degrees and the other around 70. Breakfast was lovely, including vegetarian and vegan choices. Everything felt calm, quiet, and very clean. The skibus stops in front of the hotel and takes about five minutes to reach the station. We stayed during the week, and the price for what we got was very good. There are roughly ten free parking spaces at the hotel.

The good parts were the spacious, cozy rooms, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice, and my view over the ski slope. The bar and lounge are beautiful, but close after 19:00, which was a real shame. My friends and I would have spent a lot of time and money there. To reach Miara you need the bus, though the stop is a one-minute walk away. The hotel is pleasant, but there are things missing for me, and it’s too expensive for what you get. I’d give it three stars in person, or maybe 3.5 here if I could. Heating wasn’t always available, so we couldn’t dry our ski gear. The spa is separated from the hotel and you have to walk there. It has a few warm rooms, a chill room, and a small jacuzzi, but nothing special. There weren’t enough towels for the number of guests. It wasn’t too bad when I was there because the hotel wasn’t busy, but it still isn’t acceptable. Parking was fine with few people around, though I can imagine it being difficult in peak season. It’s listed as a four-star hotel despite not having a swimming pool, so I’d take that rating with a grain of salt.

The place was beautiful and very clean, with spacious rooms and great service. There’s no air conditioning or mini fridge in the rooms. The saunas were good, and breakfast was very good too. It’s a little out of the way, but you can walk to some good restaurants for dinner.

We stayed at chalet Corso in mid-June 2024. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the room had a lovely finish. We especially liked the separate building with the sauna and whirpool bath. It was a relaxing, pleasant stay, just what we needed after a long day.
