Alberto looked after his B&B guests in such a friendly, caring way. We had a great stay and will surely return to Lucca someday. There’s private parking in the backyard, and the centre of Lucca is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed sitting outside.

We could leave our luggage early and head straight out to explore Lucca after arriving. The owner gave us a warm welcome and speaks English very well. Our room was just as advertised, spacious and clean, and the air conditioning felt great after a day in the Tuscan sun. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. A very pleasant stay.

The B&B is in a traditional Italian neighborhood, not too far from the Lucca wall. The rooms are comfortable, clean and new. During our stay they weren’t offering breakfast, which seems like something a bed and breakfast should include. Because it was holiday season, our room was cleaned only once. They would have sent someone if we’d needed it, though, so keep in touch with the property manager about anything you need.

We spent two nights at Il Tiglio for our honeymoon. The place was very clean, and Matteo was a great host who helped us however he could and suggested lovely places to visit. He speaks several languages really well and made sure we were treated just right. An amazing experience.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the owner was welcoming and so friendly. It was nice chatting with him while he served breakfast in the shared dining room. A wonderful little B&B!
