B&B Margherita 2

Getting around from B&B Margherita 2 was easy: Marina delle Barche and Calanca are both walkable, as are the center, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast came to the room and included coffee, cappuccino, water, juice, fruit, and croissants and cakes that changed each day. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and paid attention to what we needed. I also liked the clean room, the roomy bathroom and shower, the diffuser attachment on the hairdryer, and how quiet the air conditioning was. The private terrace led straight into the room.

We stayed in the Cala Bianca room, which has its own entrance and a small terrace, so it felt private and comfortable. The place is new, and the rooms feel modern and fresh. Ours was very clean and had plenty of comforts, with more space than other rooms we’ve had, especially in the bathroom. Breakfast was generous and good quality, the welcome was excellent, and the staff were friendly and kind. The private parking was handy, and from here we could walk around Marina di Camerota and get to the beaches.

The price felt more than fair, and the owners were so kind and ready to help. They even gave us a can of tuna as a parting gift, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and cared for, with thoughtful little extras, and the nearby parking was convenient. You’re right in the center, about 400 meters from the sea. Compliments to the red waitress, she’s the soul of that place. I’d also forgotten to mention the lovely breakfast at the Sirena bar. Martina was very kind, and the place itself was beautiful.

Our day had already gone sideways because of unexpected travel trouble, and we’d forgotten our baby’s stroller. Mrs. Carmela kindly went out of her way to find one for us, which really saved the day. The owners were incredibly kind, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s also a great base for exploring Camerota on foot. The one thing I’d change is the breakfast arrangement with the Zancale bar: there are only two choices, coffee or cappuccino with a chocolate or jam croissant. It would be nice to have more options, such as lactose-free cappuccino or juice and a different pastry. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
