Set among greenery, this is a beautiful property, and the ground-floor apartments have a nice patio for relaxing and eating. Getting back from the beach means tackling a very steep uphill walk. The bed was truly uncomfortable.

The staff are unquestionably friendly, and the residence is linked to the La Barca resort a few meters away. The serious issue is that the advertised arrangement doesn’t match what you get: the fee is for access to the resort and an umbrella. It’s clearly written that umbrellas can’t be reserved and go to whoever arrives first in the morning. But that’s a joke, since the resort has already booked the first four rows. We were two families with five small children who understandably wanted to play by the shore and in the sea. We had no real choice: go without an umbrella or make the kids cry. They should explain this clearly, instead of saying after every phone call that nothing can be done, or at least recognize the miscommunication and offer some other service. Definitely not suitable for families with small children.

The little beach cove has gorgeous, crystal-clear water, though getting back up is quite a climb and could be awkward for families with small kids. The residence itself is quiet, with new, well-kept apartments and indoor parking. There’s a minimarket within easy walking distance. We’ll definitely come back.

It makes a beautiful first impression when you arrive, but the room was full of damp and mold. When I raised it, they seemed surprised, though the humidity and mold had clearly been a problem for a long time. The excuses were a joke, pardon my French. I would not recommend it, even if it were the last result.
