The gardens and pool were a lovely break from the heat, and my room was generously sized, very clean, and well equipped. It was closest to the pool, which was perfect for me. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the staff were so attentive. We also had a few dinners in the courtyard, a perfect setting beneath the beautiful night sky in the warm weather. I was in Sicily with a women's mastermind retreat called inspireHER, hosted by Alex Lombardi. It was the hotel's first time hosting this kind of group, and we were the test. We all came from Canada, and it was many people's first visit to Sicily. I'd been on a couple of day tours before and wanted to see more of the country this time. The hotel was a hidden gem, an oasis in the middle of the country, rustic but elegant. I felt welcome and at home as soon as I entered reception. The restored courtyard takes you back in time. I highly recommend this beautiful place. You won't be disappointed.

Breakfast had plenty of choices and was good quality, though the stay felt pretty expensive. This peaceful country hotel has just a few rooms facing a lovely garden and tiny pool, and it's a moderate distance from nearby villages. The WiFi range is quite low. Some rooms aren't properly covered, and those that are have a spotty connection. I hope they manage to fix it.

Having your own transport is highly recommended so you can explore the nearby beaches, towns and cities, and the Montalbano´s tv series surroundings. This small country hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, with wonderful, well-kept gardens and a swimming pool. My stay was one of the most peaceful and relaxing I've ever had. I can't pick what I liked best: the place itself, the warm and helpful staff, or the lovely homemade food served on request. It's one of the best places to recharge your batteries, with countryside, peace, relaxation, seasoned homemade food, and friendly staff, all in the South of Sicily. I'd definitely try to come back soon.

We went to Modica to visit our daughter's host family, who chose Torre Dantona for a special dinner. The courtyard under the stars was a beautiful place for it, and the hotel itself was absolutely lovely. We wished we'd stayed there during our visit. The meal was delicious, with every course better than the one before, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I'd highly recommend Torre Dantona for a small Italian destination wedding.

You do need a car to get around, but this charming place is surrounded by nature and is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Sunbathing by the swimming pool is a lovely way to recharge your batteries, and it's easy to fall in love with the place. The staff are warm and helpful, with a familiar touch while still being discreet. Breakfast is self-service, with a delicious variety of cakes, and fresh coffee, including excellent espresso and cappuccino, or fried eggs are ready on demand. Lunch and dinner include tasty salads, fish, meat, and pasta dishes. The homemade dressing made with locally produced olive oil is worth a mention.
