The hotel's location was a big plus for our family week at Hotel Belmare in Marina di Pietrasanta. It's steps from the sea, and a private, well-kept path cuts across the block to the beach and promenade in just a few minutes. We were traveling with our 6-year-old daughter, so that was especially handy. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the place had the family feel we'd seen mentioned in reviews. The food was delicious and authentic, with an appetizer and vegetable buffet that suited our tastes. There could be a short, manageable wait at the buffet during main meals, but the quality made up for it. We also liked the hotel's character. The decor in the common areas and our room had an authentic, slightly retro feel, quite different from the standardized look of many modern hotels. The building is dated, but it's kept meticulously clean and well maintained. Our second-floor room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with good beds and air conditioning. Its soundproofing was poor, though. We could hear the main promenade late into weekend nights, as well as the air conditioning and noise from neighboring rooms. Parking is another thing to plan for. Because the hotel is central, there isn't free parking nearby. We recommend Hotel Belmare for its location, food, courteous service, and unpretentious family atmosphere, as long as you're comfortable with an older building and these compromises.

We're staying here right now, and it deserves 100 stars! Mrs. Marta and the rest of the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The food is fantastic, and our room is beautiful and clean, with a large terrace. Shops are close by in the pedestrian area, and the sea is just steps away. My wife and I will definitely return.

I can't give this place more than five stars, though it deserves who knows how many. The location on the Tonfano promenade is excellent, and a pedestrian path leads to the beach. There's a special agreement with BAGNO OCEANO, just a two-minute walk from the property. The family-run service was unbelievably kind and helpful. I stayed with my six-and-a-half-month-old baby, my first trip away from home with them. Even during a very busy period, the kitchen staff thoughtfully prepared vegetable broth and baby food for the baby's lunches. I'm so grateful for their help. The food was spectacular, beautifully presented and cooked, with fresh homemade pici, gnocchi, lasagna, and tagliatelle made by a wonderful 84-year-old woman. Our room was spotless and sanitized; some rooms have a balcony and sea view. Thank you to Marta, Marisa, and the whole hotel staff for being so professional, kind, and helpful. I'll definitely return. This isn't goodbye, just see you later.

My husband and I spent a week here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a warm family atmosphere. The home-cooked food was excellent, and the hotel and rooms were clean. It's on Tonfano's main street, near the shops, promenade, pier, and beach. I've been visiting Marina di Pietrasanta for twenty years, but this was my first stay at Hotel Belmare. I highly recommend it and will be back.

We spent a week here for a family holiday and felt warmly welcomed. Our room was simple, spacious, and clean, with a balcony and a bathroom that had a window and just enough space. The sea is very close. The home-cooked food was excellent and simple, with a vegetable buffet at lunch and dinner, plus more. The staff at the Belmare Hotel were courteous and professional, and Mrs. Marta was always available and kind. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back next year.
