6/10
The friendly staff and good breakfast were a nice start to the day, with cappuccinos available to order at no charge. There’s a small bar by the pleasant pool, where children may bring some activity if this is a family-oriented hotel. It’s quiet here, about a block and a half from the coastal road, and parking is free. The room was small, and the bathroom felt cramped, especially the shower, where I kept bumping into the controls or doors when turning around. The beds were okay but could be wider. The synthetic leather behind the bed smelled awful and made it hard to breathe while trying to sleep. The room had air conditioning, which is a must, but it won’t work with the window open. The room and corridors are quite old. American Express isn’t accepted for payment.

The pool area is lovely, and it’s close to the beach. Staff were pleasant, and the rooms were clean and tidy, though small. I was sorry there was no way to make tea or coffee in the room.

Good value and very close to the beach. There’s a free beach across the street that I’d recommend, and it gets less crowded in September. The upper rooms have large balconies, so ask for one.
