The dinner restaurant sits right above the lake, and the setting is lovely and romantic. Service there was excellent. In the morning, breakfast was simple, fresh, and nicely prepared. The peaceful lake views made this a relaxing stay just outside Rome. Alberto, the owner, was especially hospitable and attentive, and Elisa at reception was warm, professional, and quick to help. She stayed available on WhatsApp through the day whenever we needed something. Everyone we met was cheerful and welcoming, with a real sense of care. A special place for quiet, lovely views, and thoughtful service.

The balcony room was worth choosing for the lake view, and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathroom did let the room down a little: shower water leaked into one corner and left the floor wet. For a place presented as a luxury country house, I’d also expect bathrobes to be included. A kettle would have helped for tea when the restaurant was closed, and glass cups would fit the hotel better than plastic ones. The setting is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, a real place to rest, even in winter. The view over the lake is lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was very good. The restaurant food was excellent, especially the pasta. I had a very pleasant stay, though those small details could be improved to match the luxury feel.

Parking was a welcome plus, and the facilities were in very nice condition. It’s a peaceful place near Rome with a beautiful lake view, great for getting some air and enjoying nature. I’m not sure how easy it is to reach without a car, so it may help to sort out transport ahead of time. A relaxing stay and a good spot to unwind.

The views were fantastic, and the hotel layout was even better than we expected. Communication before and during the stay was excellent, too. It felt so comfortable, we’d happily come back. A hidden gem and just the escape we needed from busy Rome. Thank you.

The extra-large whirlpool tub in the Urbano VIII suite looked out over Lago Albano. It was magical, and probably the most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.
