Le Anfore

The bed, towels, and Wi-Fi were good. The rest of the stay was very upsetting. I told the host I might arrive after the 11 p.m. check-in cutoff because of several transport problems, especially with the trains. I got to the accommodation at 00:40, called the host’s name repeatedly, and rang the bell several times. There was no answer, and then the bell was turned off. I spent the whole night sleepless on the porch, wet from the rain and freezing, unable to take my prescription medication. I felt this was inhumane. I understand that each place has its own policy, but I believe basic humanity should come before policies, rules, and laws. On the second day, the room heater was off, and the kitchen tap had only ice-cold water, no warm or hot water. If you stay at Le Anfore, don’t count on public transport or arriving after 11 p.m. The host did try to be kind at other times, including driving me to the train station on my last day, but that doesn’t make up for what happened earlier.

The apartment was beautiful, the rooms were perfect, and even the shared bathroom was great. The host was kind, and the breakfast was fair. It’s left out the evening before, so you can have it whenever you like in the morning. I’d definitely recommend it.

We only stayed one night, so can’t say much, but the apartment had plenty supplied: a good coffee machine, oil, salt, sugar, milk, water, and a few little pastries. The place was great, though it got a bit noisy at night.

A very convenient place to stay around Ciampino Airport. The owner offers a shuttle for a small fee, and the rates are very reasonable. The room was perfect, super clean, and really comfortable.
