Hotel Residence Il Faro Acciaroli

The pizza was fresh, with fragrant tomato sauce, and the famous Cilento mozzarella was delicious. The panuozzo with prosciutto crudo and mozzarella had a light, fresh dough and was very good too. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful and clean, with polite staff. There’s a small garden and a playground for kids, and the private beach structure in Acciaroli is just a step away.

Anika at reception was perfect, and the chef and Alessio were attentive to everything we needed. They were also able to prepare gluten-free dishes for my daughter. The quality for the price is excellent, and the staff made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at the IL FARO residence during the first week of September. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and the view was breathtaking. Thanks to everyone, and see you next summer.

Parking is limited for the number of rooms, and although I told the hotel a month ahead that I needed gluten-free food, the choices were limited. I was always given the same pasta, penne, and breakfast had only a few gluten-free snacks such as rusks and muffins. The coffee, milk, and cappuccino come from a drinks dispenser. The seafront hotel is a few meters from the center and has a private sandy beach. It’s spread over several floors, with reception and the sea-view breakfast room on the ground floor, and the restaurant with its sea-view terrace and beach access on the lower floors. Rooms can be reached by elevator or stairs. They offer bed and breakfast or half-board. Half-board included a choice of three starters, three main courses, fruit or ice cream, and drinks, with extras charged separately.
