The restaurant deserves a mention of its own. Every dish was unbelievably tasty, full of varied flavors and local ingredients, and the whole meal was a great experience. Breakfast was top notch too. After our mountain hikes, the large spa with different saunas was just what we needed to unwind. The hotel itself is beautiful, with amazing views, and everything was super clean. Definitely recommend.

We stayed over Christmas 2024 and had a great time. The owner, Stefano, was very kind and personally welcomed guests. We especially want to thank Lorenzo from the restaurant staff, who was so pleasant, warm, and welcoming. The hotel has a small pool, sauna, and spa where you can book massages. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from Marlengo train / bus station. Just keep in mind that this is Marlengo station, not Merano town. A really nice place overall.

Dinner was excellent, with a new menu each evening and every dish like a gourmet work of art. Breakfast was a great buffet in the same dining room, with views over a lovely garden and the mountains. The spa isn’t as extensive as the big spa hotels, but it was more than enough for us, with an indoor lap pool, two saunas, a steam bath, and an infrared room. The service was excellent too, everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was amazing, with lots of storage, a comfortable bed looking out at the mountains, and two comfortable, adjustable, luxurious lounge chairs in the living room. A huge window there framed another incredible view. The location is fantastic, perched on the mountainside above Meran, with the city and the mountains across the valley in view, and the Marlinger Waalweg above the mountain behind us. We had a wonderful, unforgettable stay at this romantic getaway and will definitely return.

The hotel room was a welcome cool retreat during the very hot days we had this summer, and we enjoyed the spa treatments. Stephen and his team looked after my wife and me really well. There was a double payment issue when we left, but Stephen sorted it out very quickly. One of the holiday highlights was the breakfast team member who looks like Mark Ruffalo, managing his team. We had a lovely stay and plan to return.
