Tananei

We joined the olive oil experience during our two nights at David's home, and it was a real pleasure. David had also put together a very useful guide for each room, with suggestions for places to visit and eat, plus helpful trip information. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Tananei is a small olive farm and B&B in a peaceful setting among the olive trees. David and Georgia take great care of their guests. We joined one of their dinners, with plenty of homemade dishes and food from local farmers, and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was good too, with three options to choose from. It’s a special, quiet place and very good value for money.

We were so happy with our stay. David, Giorgia, and Dog were probably the best hosts I’ve had. The farmhouse is comfortable and has beautiful views, and there’s plenty to do, whether that means exploring Tuscan villages and bigger cities or just sitting on the patio with a book and wine. Their itinerary guide, breakfasts, and weekly farm-to-table dinners are all thoughtfully put together. They haven’t missed a detail.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and decorated with real taste, and the peaceful setting at Tananei is gorgeous. The olive oil tasting and dinner made the stay especially memorable. David’s enthusiasm came through as he explained how the oil is made and took us out among the olive trees. Dinner felt like a gathering of friends, with authentic homemade Tuscan food full of flavor. David brought everyone together so easily, and Giorgia deserves a big bravo for the cooking and all her hard work. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
