Villa Serioli

The owner was so thoughtful and kind, and made us feel very welcome. The apartments are modern, cozy, and super clean. We have three furry friends, and they were welcomed without any fuss, which isn’t the case in many places. The only small downside was hearing the church bells, though they’re part of this little old town.

Villa Serioli is a good fit for a short stay, though it seems less practical for longer visits. The price is reasonable for such a touristy location, and the place was clean. Apartments can be rented for anything from a day to three months, in the center of Marone. The old building has been renovated well and feels welcoming. There’s a small reception area, with apartments on two floors above it. Each floor has four studios or one-bedroom apartments of a decent size, each with its own bathroom. There are shared terraces with tables outside each floor for breakfast and lunch. Inside, the amenities are basic but complete. The apartments are comfortable and roomy enough for a couple, perhaps a bit less so for families. The stairs are very steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

The owner, Elisabetta, goes out of her way to make sure your holiday is perfect. The apartments have every comfort, in a historic house that’s been renovated beautifully. It’s a short walk from the lake, in a quiet village with plenty of hiking and trekking nearby.

Mrs. Isa is simply fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The apartments are warm and personal, with excellent prices, and a great choice if you want to relax in a quiet, peaceful village. They’re just a few meters from the lake and beach, with the vaporetto, supermarket, pharmacy, rotisserie, Bar 900, tobacconist, and train station nearby. Excellent, I’d say!
