We had a long, unusually honest conversation, and by the end we agreed that Sicilian people understand a lot about life, thanks both to their wit and to years of experience. They’ll gladly give someone another chance if asked. If you want a human experience, don’t miss this one. It’s easy to judge someone else’s work, though doing the work yourself is harder.

The hotel is only a two-minute walk from the salt flats and the bars where you can have sunset aperitifs. Breakfast had plenty of sweet and savory choices, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was consistently clean. The pool area is on the small side, but comfortable and quiet, just right for unwinding.

The pool was a lovely place to unwind after a day out, and our daughter enjoyed playing and relaxing there every day. We also found the manager and all the staff exceptionally courteous. The room was spotless, roomy, comfortable, and practical, with everything we needed and a sea view. The location worked well for local beaches, the salt flats, the bike path for anyone interested, and nearby sights. During our stay, we chose four destinations from Mazara del Vallo, Selinunte, Erice, Favignana, and Levanzo for day trips. Breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared. We’d definitely come back as soon as we can.

We had a really nice weekend, and I’d recommend staying here. The staff were very friendly and ready to help with anything, and we got to relax by the clean, quiet pool. The salt flats are close enough to walk to in under 10 minutes. Our only gripe was the lack of artificial light in our room. The property could use a few improvements, but that was the one issue we noticed.
