Stagnone Area Zero

The garden was a great place to relax, with sunbeds, tables, and all the basics. They also have parking, a spot to rinse kite and surf gear, and outdoor racks for wetsuits, harnesses, and other things to dry. The hosts were kind. Their daughter speaks English very well, and we got by with the parents using Google Translate on our phones. Everything was very clean, and filtered tap water was free to drink. We paid €35-40 per person per night, plus a €1 tourist tax, which is common in much of Europe.

The courtyard garden was lovely at any time of day, and you can wash off your kite gear outside. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of options you could request. There was excellent Italian coffee whenever we wanted, plus homemade cookies to snack on. The lagoon is just a minute away, with lots of great places to explore nearby. Stagnone Area Zero is a beautifully renovated old country house. The family hosting us were always smiling and friendly, and we had some lovely long conversations about their shared interest in the arts. They were ready to help with whatever we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return if we're in the area. Stick around in the evening, and you might get to enjoy an aperitivo with the hosts and their live music.

The free bikes made it easy to reach the kite spot in about five minutes. Emilia and her family were very welcoming, and they handled our late-night arrival kindly when a ferry delay pushed us back. We stayed for a week and had a really nice time. Breakfast was served every morning in the sweet little garden. There was drinking water from the tap, a fridge, and free coffee.

Silvia's cake was incredible, and Giacomo's fish was divine. Emilia and her family made us feel completely at home and did everything they could to make our stay special. The place itself is magical, comfortable, relaxing, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was ridiculously good. Leaving was the hardest part, but I'll definitely be back soon.
