The B&B itself is fantastic, with generously sized rooms, a lovely garden, and a varied breakfast. It’s also well placed for reaching lots of wonderful spots by car. We stayed at Villa Margherita for five nights and wished we’d booked more. Mylène and Gaspare made us feel at home right away. They really care about their guests, share lots of recommendations, and want you to have the best time in Sicily and come back to the island. They do a pretty great job of it, too. We’ll certainly return!

Villa Margherita sits in a semi-rural spot roughly halfway between Trapani and Marsala, just a couple of kilometers from the beautiful sunsets of the Salt Pans. The stucco-walled compound is sheltered by coastal pines and olive trees, giving it a sunny, secluded, peaceful feel. The hosts, Mylène and Gaspare, were wonderful. They went out of their way to welcome me, arranged transport from Trapani airport, contacted a rental car company, and offered loads of suggestions and help with things to do near Marsala and Trapani. The recently renovated rooms and bathrooms are spacious, fully modern, beautifully decorated, well appointed, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is served on the nearby outdoor veranda beside a colorful flower garden. There was fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, pastries, yogurt, and hot and cold drinks, with Enzo, one of the cutest and most sociable cats I’ve met, keeping us company. Highly recommended. I can’t wait to visit again!

The hosts were very attentive, and the place was immaculate. This is a beautiful B&B in the town of Marcella Sicily, with one of the best breakfasts of all the B&Bs we stayed at.
