I loved staying at Salinara, especially my room and the grounds with their lemon trees, bougainvillea, olive trees, and grapevines. We were there for a watercolor week, with several excursions and two vans for the group, and everyone was flexible and helpful. Yumi and Adriano, along with the staff, were attentive to what we needed and asked for. Breakfast on the patio was excellent, and all the meals were delicious.

The rooms, painting spots, and food were all amazing, and the retreat brought some wonderful friendships too. Cindy and Theresa’s watercolor week at Salinara was made special by owners and staff who paid close attention to what we needed. It couldn’t have been better.

The week was such a joy, making art and getting to know other artists. At Salinara, Adriano, Yumi, and Shan looked after everything we needed, and the meals were delicious and special. The vineyard’s wine and olive oil were lovely too. The place itself, and the warmth of the owners and staff, made the week what it was. Mucho bello!

The rooms are all different and amazing, and the location is great for getting to the salt flats. The food deserves five stars. Make use of the bikes.

During our art retreat this past week, Yumi and Adriano made us feel so welcome with their warmth and humor. They get that artists need freedom from rigid schedules, along with time, support, and a beautiful place to paint. The food and wine were excellent, and practically farm to table. Highly recommended for artists wanting to explore the unique beauty of Siciky. Best, Gary
