B&B La Casa Fra Gli Olivi

Breakfast was delicious and served in a roomy dining area. The B&B is in a peaceful spot among the Marsciano hills, and Patrizia was welcoming and very helpful. Air conditioning would be a welcome addition. Recommended!

We were charged 70 euros, but the room was dirty, there was no breakfast on site, and we had to take out the garbage ourselves. I stayed two days with my family, and dust, cobwebs, and live and dead insects were all over the room throughout our stay. Despite the owner's insistence that it had been sanitized, it looked like nobody had cleaned it properly for a long time. This was unacceptable during the COVID pandemic. At booking, the owner hadn't mentioned that breakfast meant a voucher for just €3 per person per day at a café 2km away, enough for a croissant and cappuccino, and very inconvenient. The owner's reply came two weeks later and tried to justify everything, but the photos showing the dust and the €3 voucher speak for themselves.

The lack of heating was the problem. There was only a bathroom radiator, which didn't warm the room, so we slept cold and fully dressed. It's a lovely green setting, and our simple room was clean. Mrs. Patrizia was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was basic, served with other guests in a shared room with a lovely view of the Umbrian countryside. We'll return, just not in winter. 😅

Our girls, Carlotta and Martina, had such fun with the animals. We spent a weekend at this lovely place surrounded by greenery, within easy reach of Perugia, Assisi, Todi, and Lake Trasimeno. The building is new and really well cared for, the room was clean, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. What stood out most was Mrs. Patrizia’s warm welcome and how helpful she was.
