La Casa degli Uccellini Bio Agriturismo

Mari Lou’s place is a real gem, so beautiful and peaceful. She was a lovely host, happy to share useful local information and answer all our questions. Breakfast was generous and full of high-quality local products: homemade mozzarella, fresh milk from the farm, jam made from fruit from her trees, and a delicious cake she bakes every day. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying with Marylou while visiting the area.

The breakfast at La Casa degli Uccellini was such a treat, with fresh fruit, homemade jams, honey, bread, cakes, yoghurt, burratina, and stracciatella. Our rooms had a cozy feel and the trulli house style really suited the region. Marilù was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We also loved having Tim and Ron around. Ron was especially cuddly and affectionate. Tucked away in the Puglian countryside, it felt like a perfect escape, and we can’t wait to come back to Martina Franca.

We spent four nights at La Casa degli Uccellini and had a great time. The room was spacious, comfortable, stylish, and had a lovely patio with everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning, especially the fresh farm cheeses and home-baked cakes. Marilù was a wonderful and helpful host. The agriturismo is in a quiet area, an easy drive from Martina Franca and well placed for exploring Itria Valley.

Our room was in an original Trullo, and we enjoyed the clean room and bathroom facilities as well as the warm hospitality. Breakfast was delicious, with almost everything homemade. The quiet countryside setting is close to Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo, and Alborello. We also went for a lovely morning walk in the surrounding fields and cycled to Cisternino and Locorotondo along the hidden pathways of enchanting Val d'Istria.
