Trulli il Castagno

Don't miss the tasting and dinner with Giorgio and his family. The food was phenomenal, the setting was fantastic, and the wine was a real treat. For such a small producer, there was a really interesting range of winemaking to try.

From here, every place we wanted to see in Puglia was an hour's drive away or less, so it was a great base for exploring. The accommodation was just right, with a comfortable bed, hotel quality bedding, and good heating during our March stay. Giorgio was always helpful and told us about the area, the vineyard, and the olive grove. He also said we could pick whatever we liked from the vegetable garden. We'd love to return when there's more happening and the pool is open. A little gem I'd recommend.

We spent nine days with the Spalluto family while visiting for a friend's wedding, and had a wonderful time. The trullo had everything we needed, the pool was amazing, and the whole place was so peaceful. Giorgio, Vincenzo, Alessandro, and their mum Beatrice made us feel right at home. One evening we took a cooking class and had dinner made with wine and produce from the farm. It was a phenomenal experience. I can't recommend Trulli il Castagno enough.

Set in the Puglia countryside, this small Trulli Village is still close to all the cities we wanted to visit. We stayed in a Truli house on a vineyard, run by some genuinely lovely people. The accommodation looked like the photos and met our expectations. The grounds were fantastic, with swings for the kids and a pool for everyone. We also tried the onsite wine tasting in a perfect spot among the vines, led by very knowledgeable owners. We highly recommend Trulli il Castagno.
