Villa del Sole Martina Franca

We were 12 adults and a toddler, split between the main villa’s first and second floors and the trullo. Martino and Grazio were gracious hosts, and replied promptly whenever we had questions about the accommodation or the area. Martina Franca has plenty to do and a good range of restaurants, and it makes a great base for visiting towns around Puglia. The three apartments were laid out well, and our group gathered in the first-floor apartment each morning and evening. The bathrooms were great and the beds comfortable enough. Outside, there’s a large pool that was warm enough in September, plus a play area and a football area with goals for young kids. The whole family enjoyed the table tennis. Villa del Sole was a great base for our extended family to explore beautiful Puglia.

The gates opened and we were wowed when we arrived and met Martino and his wife at check-in. The Villa is beautiful and had everything our group needed. It was very clean and well equipped with kitchen, laundry, and bathroom accessories. The pool was clean too, with plenty of lounge chairs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it as a holiday destination.

The location made it easy to explore: Martina Franca is just a five-minute drive away, with plenty of restaurants and bars, and lovely beach clubs are nearby too. We came as a group of 15 aged 25-30, and Villa Del Sole worked so well for us. The separate apartments gave everyone their own space, with good sleeping and bathroom arrangements. We spent plenty of time enjoying the pool, and the football grounds were a fun extra. Martino was a thoughtful, welcoming host who was always around when we needed help. The facilities exceeded our expectations, and everything felt just right for a group holiday. We’d happily come back to Puglia.

Martino and Grace were lovely and quick to help. We had a great time at Villa del Sole, and the house, pool, and outdoor space all looked even better in person than they did in the photos. I’d gladly recommend it.
