A really good hotel.

The best!

The Corallo Hotel could be a great place, but it feels poorly maintained. Its best feature is the seafront location: cross the road and you're at the water. Reception, bar, and restaurant staff were very professional and good at their jobs, despite being young. Our room was small, but the bathroom had been redone and the bed was comfortable. The food was carelessly prepared, underseasoned, and served in small portions. The garden, which should be a highlight, was neglected. So was the private beach, which we found in a filthy state and still not fully equipped at the end of May. The pool couldn't be used because it still needed maintenance then. Noise was another problem. The hotel is next to a family facility, and quiet hours weren't respected. Music was turned up very loud, and kids played table football and yelled with every goal. It was unacceptable. The Corallo owner wasn't responsible for that situation, but couldn't stop it either. I got an excellent deal and wasn't expecting everything to be perfect, but I don't think a guest should get the bare minimum. Rating: NI.

The hotel's location is the one thing I thought was excellent. Parking is available inside, but there wasn't room for everyone, so I had to leave my car on the street. The rooms are small, there's no outlet beside the bed, and the only elevator is always busy. I was satisfied with the food, but it seemed poor to me. If you book half board through Booking and later add full board, they charge 20 euros more per person, yet the dishes you get are paltry and don't feel worth that price. The reception staff also seemed unhappy when I asked for anything. The pool area is cramped, with sunbeds blocking the walkway and making it easy to fall.
