Having the shared kitchen was a big help for us with a child. After a day at the beach, we could make dinner at home, and breakfast on the terrace was peaceful and relaxing. My partner, our five-year-old son, and I stayed eight nights at this family-run B&B after a local friend recommended it, and we couldn’t have chosen better. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The homemade cakes deserve a special mention, they were superb. It really felt like a vacation. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast on the terrace came with a panoramic view of Maruggio and the sea. There were sweet and savory dishes, fruit, and the legendary friselle with their special condiment. Maruggio’s characteristic center is just a short walk away, while the sea is a few minutes by car. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator for luggage.

The hosts were always friendly and polite, and we felt very comfortable at B&B Luvi. It’s a lovingly run guesthouse in a handy spot in Maruggio, so it’s easy to head into town in the evening or to the beach during the day. Parking was usually available on the street or right outside, and it was very reasonably priced. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each morning there was a small but tasty breakfast with local products, including a freshly baked cake every day.

We spent a short weekend here, and the service was as good as we expected. The management is attentive and professional, and breakfast features quality local products. Rooms are spacious and clean. A comfortable, practical place to stay near the lovely beaches.
