We came as a family of five looking for a quiet, authentic stay, and it was fantastic. The kids loved meeting all kinds of animals: horses, goats, dogs, cats, ducks, and chickens. Waking up to a pony staring in through the window was something else 😅 The hosts were so kind. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade confitures, nut cream made on the farm, and freshly baked cakes. And that authentic Sicilian dinner, especially the marroni baked over a fire after being picked from the nearby tree, was unforgettable. Thank you for having us!

The grounds are huge, which makes for a fun wander with the kids, and they loved petting the very friendly animals. Silvio and Christina made us feel right at home. It's also a great base for little adventures nearby.

Stefano and Christina were so kind and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. This rustic place is surrounded by hazelnut trees and nature, with comfortable, well-heated rooms. The food was the standout: dinner was tasty, plentiful, and full of local flavours and recipes. It's an ideal base for exploring Etna and a great example of what an agriturismo should be.

Dinner was absolutely delicious, and the whole retreat was peaceful and relaxing, with lovely dogs and goats around. Cristina and her family were so hospitable, and she gave me excellent advice for beautiful walks in Etna Park. This was one of my favourite places during my time in Sicily, and I'll remember it as a highlight. I can't recommend it enough.

We were advised to reach Etna by way of refuge Citelli, about a 15-minute drive away. The setting itself is beautiful and rustic, up on a mountain among hazelnut trees, with lovely walking and a starry sky at night. Their sheepdog makes a great guide. Breakfast was served by Stefano, a well-travelled host, alongside his wife Cristina and their lovely children. May life be good to you. R
