Hotel Centro

The friendly staff and warm atmosphere made the visit more enjoyable. Hotel Centro serves flavorful Italian food made with high-quality ingredients, and the service was excellent. A great spot to stay or eat, and I’d recommend it for an Italian hospitality experience.

Matteo helped me find an electric bike to rent after I’d had no luck searching online. The Matriarch even had cappuccino, juice, and a croissant ready earlier than any other food option in Torre Pellice. The restaurant was busy every night, with plenty of people who clearly weren’t staying at the hotel, which seemed like a good sign. The location was ideal, right around the corner from the Waldensian Museum / Complex and near so much Valdese history. More of it was a 10-minute drive or a two-hour walk away than I could explore in a whole week. My room was very clean, and the food was excellent. For a modest lodging, the staff, mostly family, were incredibly friendly, and the price was better than I expected. It had everything I needed for my short time in Italy. I didn’t miss a name-brand hotel at all, and each day I was glad to return to a clean, comfortable place after exploring Piedmont. Grazie Mille!

Hotel Centro might not be a five-star property, but the Pontet family made our stay feel like one. I spent two weeks here with people from our group whom I’d only just met, and we all came away with the same positive impression. Matteo, Stefano, and their parents, affectionately called Poppi and Mommi, were helpful with everything, from local activities and restaurants to airport transport. Their friendliness made it feel like a family place. The food was amazing. Poppi is behind the mouthwatering Italian cooking, and breakfast came with eggs, ham, and cheese on the side, plus different breads at no extra charge. Matteo and Stefano run the hotel and restaurant and also serve guests. The rooms are quaint rather than grand, but very comfortable and honestly cleaner than any hotel I’ve stayed in. Mommi leads housekeeping. They even stayed open late so we could celebrate our wins at the local ice rink. I can’t think of enough good words for Hotel Centro. If you’re staying in Torre Pellice, I recommend it highly. You won’t be disappointed.

Really good food at very reasonable prices. The sirloin with pepper sauce was absolutely tasty. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want good food and ambience without spending much.
