Salvatore made us feel welcome from the time we booked and took care of all the details. Tony, the owner, greeted us warmly too, and during our stay he was always around with useful advice, excursion ideas and help booking restaurants. Tony and Christian live on site, so guests are looked after with a real family feeling. That hospitality is what makes this place special. The small beachfront hotel has just four rooms and offers a peaceful, intimate break between the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. We spent nine days in Sicily, staying in Room Poseidon, which opened straight onto an infinity pool facing the sea. The sunrise views were beautiful, and a quiet swim first thing was magical. The hotel opened about a year ago, is spotlessly clean, and is well placed for trips to Taormina, Etna, Castelmola and other spots. The beach is only steps away, good for a swim or a quiet break from crowds. For an authentic Sicilian stay away from Taormina's tourist bustle and high prices, this is a lovely hidden gem. We left very happy and hope to return.

We had a wonderful holiday, and I especially want to thank Tony, Cristian and Salvatore. They're such kind, friendly hosts. Whenever we had a problem, it was sorted out right away, any time of day. The apartment was clean and had what we needed for a vacation. We loved the pool and being so close to the beach. As a couple who likes a quiet break without many other guests, it suited us perfectly. Mascali is a small Sicilian village, but a handy base for day trips around Sicily. Mount Etna is visible right from the apartment, and early one morning we even saw it spitting lava. The sunrise on the beach next door was beautiful too. Thanks for such a lovely holiday. The view is fantastic, and the place is in a very good location. It had everything we needed, and the owners were very helpful. I can only recommend it.
