Agriturismo Fiore

The rooms were quite dirty, and with the all-inclusive arrangement there were all kinds of nasties. We had half board, but dinner amounted to just water and wine, and eating there felt like being in a nursing home. We had agreed on a price, then this morning he demanded another 120 euros for a supplement he'd made up himself. He was rude, and really deserved not to be paid. We left the money on the table and went without saying goodbye. We were unlucky, but there are places with quality, fair prices, and kindness, so look around and avoid this one. I strongly advise against it. Minus five stars. Getting here was a problem too. All three couples had off-road vehicles, which we were lucky to have for the very steep, bumpy climb. You can't even get here with a GPS. We're just now heading home, me and two other couples of friends, from this farmhouse that, in my opinion, is pointless.

The rooms are simple, but clean and welcoming, and dinner was spectacular, with flavorful dishes prepared with care. Mr. Giovanni is a wonderful person, and his love and dedication show in the details. He built everything from scratch with his own hands, and the place feels authentic and warm. It's a great spot for getting away from the rush of everyday life and finding some calm, simplicity, and time in nature. The location also works well for hikes and walks around the area.

You'll need a car to get around, but this is a good base for walks in the park, with plenty of hiking trails nearby. My girlfriend and I stayed four nights with half board. The place is quiet and has a lovely view. Giovanni takes care of everything, breakfast is ready in the morning, and we could explore during the day before sitting down to a delicious dinner each evening. We enjoyed the food every day.

It’s a peaceful place with a slow pace, set in a fantastic location. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with everything we needed. You can have breakfast and dinner there. Giovanni and his staff deserve a special mention for making us feel at home.
