The taxi from Catania airport took 50 minutes and cost 80 euro. There’s free parking. No cleaning, no soap in the shower and no towel changes. The kitchen only had basic equipment. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach and nearest small market, and a ten-minute drive to Lidle. Mascali is a very small town with almost no nightlife.

We spent four nights here with my family. Great location and parking, and it was clean and a good size for five people. My holiday was top :)

The area is beautiful and the apartment is close to the sea, but we had several problems during our six-night family stay in late September. The initial cleaning wasn't adequate, and the mop and broom were in terrible shape. They replaced the mop the day after we asked. One evening the gas cylinder ran out, and there wasn't a replacement until morning, so we missed our meal. On our final night we had no hot water because bad weather limited the solar panels. It would help if guests could access the water heater when needed. The place could be better organized to make stays more comfortable out of season.

The resort has all the comforts, from cleanliness to services, and the staff are both friendly and professional. Mr. Nino, the owner, was especially kind right from the start. They make you feel like one of the family. I highly recommend it.
