The house and grounds are lovely, quiet, and peaceful, well away from the city noise. Our room was clean and comfortable. David made the stay especially good: he suggested places to visit and routes to take, which saved us a lot of time and money. It’s about 20-30 minutes from both Etna and Catania, so it worked really well for seeing both.

The garden is beautiful, and the room was clean with a good breakfast. David was always smiling and helped us out in every situation, with useful suggestions for things to see around Catania and Sicily. Maybe the place should be called Garden of David😀 Best wishes to David, Geronimo, and Mate from Croatia.

We were only stopping for one night before heading to Etna the next day, but it turned into a lovely stay. David joined us for a meal and a welcome chat about our travels, then shared lots of tips for where we were going next. That’s one of the joys of travelling!

Davide is a very kind host who knows the area inside out. He has routes and maps ready for travelers, both on paper and electronically, and seems to have the answers before you even ask. He doesn’t speak English, unfortunately, so we communicated using Google Translate’s voice feature.

We got in very late at night, but that was no trouble at all. The friendly service even included an unexpected taste of local shots. Our room was warm and the bed comfortable.
