Terrazza dell'Etna

That terrace is a real highlight. The owners are so kind and helpful, and the value for money is great. This is where I always stay when work brings me to the area.

Everything felt clean and orderly, from the roomy, comfortable rooms to the generous shared spaces. The welcome was warm and courteous, and the panoramic terrace is huge, with views of Mount Etna and the sea. A lovely place to stay.

I first came here while working nearby. The property is easy to reach, has private parking, and sits just a few kilometers from the center of Catania at the foot of Mount Etna. Simona gave me all the information I needed and was cheerful and helpful. Giulia, her daughter, was also very kind and quickly helped with a request. My room was welcoming, clean, and air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi is available too. The terrace view was beautiful, as you can see in the photo I attached. I was very satisfied and plan to come back for sightseeing. I gave the price five stars.

The hostess was welcoming, friendly, and very kind, and there was plenty of room in the common area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern, large bathroom. It also had a little terrace leading to the big terrace, where you can take in the whole view of Etna and the sea. The place is quiet at night, easy to get to, and has indoor parking. Breakfast was delicious at a nearby bar, though I would have preferred to eat at the accommodation. A few things let it down. The bathroom was clean but had a lot of limescale. The fridge in the room was switched off and unplugged, with no water for the night; luckily, I had brought a couple of bottles. There was a coffee machine in the shared area but no pods, and no napkins, towels, or kettle. It's also odd that the B&B is on the terrace of a school. Such a shame, because it has a lot of potential.
